‘Malleable natural stone’ is how StucGranito is best described. It feels genuinely hard to the touch — solid, dense and scratch-resistant — yet carries a rare elegance and calm. Waterproof and 100% mineral, it brings the quiet authority of stone to a wall, a floor or a worktop.
Applied very evenly, StucGranito reads almost like a perfectly uniform painted surface, while keeping a faint grain you can feel under your hand. Left a touch more open, it shows subtle variations of tone. Either way the colour runs right through the material — it is the mineral pigment, not a coating, that gives StucGranito its shade.
It is built from lime and cement, supplied as a white powder and coloured on site with Stoopen & Meeûs pigments. Because every mineral finish depends on the craftsman, the substrate and the light, we always make a sample first — the truest way to judge the final result.
Matt or polished.
The same stone plaster reads two ways — a matt, even mineral surface, or polished to a soft sheen that deepens its colour and brings out its density.
Forty mineral shades.
Coloured on site with mineral pigments — natural, earthy tones from light sand to deep, dark stone, with an unlimited range on request.

- Composition
- A high-end decorative mineral plaster of lime and cement, supplied as a white powder and coloured on site with mineral pigments. Once set it forms a hard, uniform finish comparable to high-quality natural stone — in both look and upkeep.
- Equipment
- StucGranito powder (4 kg or 16 kg bags) and Stoopen & Meeûs powder pigments, with StucPrimer and a suitable topcoat — PU StucVarnish 2K, Uniwall 1KPU or Uniwall Wax. Tools: a mechanical mixer, clean water and a Venetian or Japanese trowel.
- Protection
- StucGranito is sealed wherever it will meet moisture or stains. The topcoat suits the wear: PU StucVarnish (2KPU) for heavy use such as floors, shower walls and worktops; Uniwall 1KPU or Uniwall Wax for decorative surfaces; Stuc HardWaxOil for floors and walls in non-white colours. Representative tests are always carried out first.
- Where it's used
- For walls, ceilings, floors, worktops and stairs — on dry, solid, stable, grease-free substrates. Suitable for concrete, screed, existing tiles, worktops, MDF and sound old paint. High-quality workmanship is essential to the result.
