The engineering behind exceptional surfaces
Beyond the Finish.

Beauty is visible. Confidence is built underneath.
A flawless finish begins before the first decorative coat. It begins with understanding the substrate, controlling moisture, preparing transitions and choosing the right protection for the environment. Every detail matters — especially the ones no one will ever see.
For SolidRock, the finish is not a standalone product. It is the visible part of a complete, project-specific surface system.
Five disciplines. One considered result.
Linked disciplines, not a fixed universal layer stack — each project is specified for its own conditions.
Understand the substrate
Assess movement, condition, cracks, moisture and the demands of each surface before designing the finish.
Establish a stable foundation
Select appropriate preparation, repairs and high-performance levelling. Where specified, fibre-reinforced levelling helps create a sound, even base.
Control moisture
For external terraces and other moisture-sensitive assemblies, manage water and vapour movement beneath the coating with the correct project-specific strategy.
Engineer the wet-area details
Integrate waterproofing, drain connections, corners, penetrations and transitions into one documented design. The smallest connection deserves the greatest attention.
Apply the architectural finish
Complete the surface with the selected seamless coating and protection system — carefully applied by trained professionals for the intended environment.
See what's underneath.
Explore the assembly beneath a seamless shower, terrace or pool. Choose an application — each is designed for its own conditions.
A shower is an assembly, not a surface — the drain, corners and wall-to-floor junctions decide whether it lasts.
The hand-applied seamless coating and its protection system, selected for a wet, frequently-used surface.
Conceptual diagram — layers and sequence vary by project; not a fixed or universal installation method.
Water finds every weakness. We design for the details.
The drain. The corners. The junction between wall and floor. The places where a beautiful shower succeeds or fails are often invisible when the project is complete. SolidRock approaches wet areas from the underlying waterproofing and detailing through to the final seamless finish, with the system selected for each application.
A shower should be considered as an assembly — not simply a surface.

Terraces — sun above, moisture below.
Outdoor terraces face more than rain and sunlight. Moisture and vapour can migrate from the substrate beneath a finish. Our approach begins with understanding those conditions and specifying the appropriate moisture-control and waterproofing layers before the decorative surface is installed.

Pools — seamless design, even where water stays.
Drawing on years of project experience in Palma de Mallorca, SolidRock designs selected seamless pool and water-exposed finishes as application-specific assemblies. Surface selection, substrate conditions, waterproofing details and finishing requirements are reviewed together.

The appearance of nature. The discipline of engineering.
Our high-performance StucVestre surface brings the depth and calm of a natural mineral finish to demanding architectural applications. Complementary wall and ceiling systems, including Rifine and Lime Wash, allow a coordinated colour language across the space — always using the correct material for each surface.
European experience. Architectural precision.
Rooted in German craftsmanship and refined through projects in Mallorca, SolidRock brings hands-on installation knowledge to complex seamless surfaces in the United States. We believe premium results come from understanding the system, not just mastering the final trowel stroke.
