Metallic Finishes

What Metallic Finishes Are
Our metallic finishes are built from real metal powder — copper for OxiQ, iron for RustiQ — troweled onto the wall and then brought to life with an activator. As the metal oxidises, the surface develops a true patina: verdigris greens, coppers, ambers and rusts, shaped entirely by the maker's hand. Because the corrosion is real, the depth and movement can't be printed or imitated.

A memorable first surface for offices, galleries and studios.

Our Process
- 01
Consultation & sample
We agree the effect — copper, rust or a blend — and make an activated sample in your light.
- 02
Priming
The wall is prepared with the right primer so the metal layer keys and holds.
- 03
Metal application
Real copper or iron powder is troweled on by hand, building the surface.
- 04
Activation & seal
An activator draws out the patina; once it reaches the look you want, the surface is sealed.
Installing in South Florida
These are interior finishes, where we control the activation and then seal the surface so the patina stays as intended. Our team plans the work around your space and its light.
